Summary: We are presenting efficacy of perimetry and electrophysiological tests in diagnosis of pituitary tumours on the basis of world literature and our experiences. The most useful test in diagnosis of pituitary adenomas is perimetry, especially "blue on yellow" test. In perimetry the most characteristic feature are bitemporal defects. Pattern VEP even using multichannel technique is less sensitive compare to visual field analyses but in some cases it is only one test which show visual pathway disturbances. PERG can have prognostic value in patient who need surgery.
