| Summary: |
The aim of this study was an attempt to compare the results
of the laser scanning polarimetry in a group of patients which underwent two examinations
performed with two different polarimeters: GDx FCC and GDx VCC.
We've analyzed examinations of 7 patients (14 eyes) with POAG or glaucoma suspected. In
the short time interval we performed 2 examinations in each patient: one with GDx FCC
(Fixed Corneal Compensation), the other with GDx VCC (Variable Corneal Compensation).
The results of this study were analyzed according to the influence of variable corneal
polarization on the examination as well as their reliability and mutual compliance. |
