| Summary: |
The evaluation of contrast sensitivity in diabetic
maculopathy and AMD before and after treatment was done. Macular disorders in diabetic
patients were treated with laser photocoagulation. The photodynamic therapy was done to
AMD patients.
The improvment of contrast sensitivity was noted in many cases after therapy.
The contrast sensitivity test seems to be a usefull method for monitoring the treament
effects. |
