Summary: Basing on our Outpatients Clinic material we aimed to summarise our experience with children suffering from ocular allergy and verify the symptoms and seasonal incidence of their disease. We analysed their medical records paying attention to medical history, physical examination and season of the year connected with their symptoms. Of all patients attending our Outpatients Clinic 4,6% suffered from ocular allergy. The medium age of ocular allergy occurrence was 6,6 years. In majority of cases spring was the season when this disease appeared. Symptoms had mainly seasonal character. Itching and lacrimation were the main complaints. On physical examination the most frequent signs of allergy were alterations within the conjunctiva. Visual acuity was not deteriorated by ocular allergy.
Key words:   ocular allergy, children.
