| Summary: |
IOL Master is a new
non-contact instrument for IOL power calculation. This
device provides measurements of axial length with
partial coherence interferometry, anterior chamber depth
with lateral slit illumination and corneal radius with
an integrated autokeratometer. The software of the IOL
Master calculates the IOL power on the basis of
determined values and calculation formulas. In the
article principles and the technique of examination with
IOL Master are presented. |
