| Summary: |
The aim of the study was
to compare efficacy and tolerance of 0.1% indomethacin
versus 0.1% diclofenac eye drops in inflammatory
processes prevention in patients after cataract surgery.
The study consists of two groups (A and B) of patients
with cataract who underwent phacoemulsification or
extracapsular extraction procedure. Patients in group A
used 0.1% diclofenac (Naclof), patients in group B used
0.1% indomethacin (Indocollyre). We analysed IOP changes,
protein and cellular tyndallization, conjunctival
hyperemia, perikeratic circle, corneal precipitates,
posterior synechiae and subjective tolerance of applied
eye drops. Results are presented in this article. |
