| Summary: |
Age-related macular
degeneration (AMD) seems to be one of the most serious
problems in ophthalmology. Because of rapid progression
of the disease proper diagnostic procedures are
nesessary. The author presents, based on the literature,
modern diagnostic methods of the follow up of the fellow
eye in patients with severe AMD in the first eye. |
