| Summary: |
The aim of the study is to
present the results of the treatment of mixed, simple
and compound myopic and hyperopic high astigmatism with
the LASIK technique using Nidek EC-5000 excimer laser
and microkeratome MK-2000. 119 eyes of 83 patients are
analyzed. Some contraindications, like frank and forme
fruste keratoconus, pellucid marginal and posterior
polymorphous corneal dystrophy are mentioned. Lasik and
cataract extraction, single ablation technique, bitoric
ablation modo Chayet and cross-cylinder ablation modo
Vinciguerra are also described. |
