| Summary: |
The purpose of the paper
is to present case report and long-term treatment
results of the 44 years old male patient after few
serious intraocular procedures with postoperative
aniridia and aphakia. The patient had artificial
posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation with
scleral fixation with coloured iris prosthesis.
Satisfactory functional and cosmetic results were
achieved. Intraocular lens use is a safe management
method in postoperative aniridia in aphakic eyes, after
multiple previous intraocular procedures. |
