| Summary: |
The authors presented a
case of a 16 years old girl with BRVO after 5 days long
intake of hormonal contraceptive drug Diana 35 (Cyproteron
+ Ethinyloestradiol). She had vision disturbances on the
admision day ( reduction of visual acuity and seeing the
blot). The clinical exam was taken: visual acuity,
stereoscopic fundus examination, fundus photography,
fluoresceine angiography on the admission day and 5
months later. Hormonal contraceptive drugs may cause
retinal vein thrombosis in adolescents. |
