| Summary: |
Statutory responsibility
of the physician to provide medical aid often collides
with the patient’s right for self-determination. It has
to be assumed, however, that a physician who performs
saving life procedures to a patient without his consent
is responsible to criminal liability. We can distinguish
the following consents: exclusive, cumulative,
substitutive, depending on the person who signs the
consent. |
