| Summary: |
The iridocorneal
endothelial syndrome is an uncommon cause of acquired
glaucoma in adults. Three major clinical variants of the
disease include Chandler’s syndrome, essential iris
atrophy, and Cogan-Reese (iris-nevus) syndrome. The
paper provides a literature overview concerning
pathomechanism, diagnosis and treatment of iridocorneal
endothelial syndrome. |
