The authors present
co-regulation as a therapeutic strategy in glaucoma.
Co-regulation is the ability of a drug to positively
impact the two key pathogenic systems in the eye:
intraocular pressure and blood flow. The role of
vascular factors in the glaucoma pathogenesis according
to the last multicentre studies, and treatment which
combines IOP lowering with ocular blood flow improvement
is discussed. |
