In a review on the basis
of the present pathogenetic concept of glaucomatous
optic neuropathy five elements of glaucoma future
treatment strategy: baroprotection, vasoprotection,
neuroprotection, gene therapy and immunotherapy were
presented. Exploring new pharmacological classes and new
horizons of glaucoma treatment were emphasized. |
