| Summary: |
The dynamic development of
refractive surgery was possible due to introduction of
new system imaging the structures of the anterior
segment of the eye. New surgical techniques have to be
supported by detailed assessment of and calculation of
parameters of the cornea, the iris and the lens. Authors
describe broad range of systems for imaging the anterior
segment of the eye. New instruments available to
ophthalmologists may improve the visual outcome and
safety of cataract and refractive surgery. |
