As in recent years new
keratoplasty techniques are rapidly gaining acceptance
as the procedure of choice for visual rehabilitation,
the indications for corneal transplantation are
continually evolving. Current indications,
contraindications and rules of patient selection for
penetrating and lamellar grafting as well as for
procedures combined with cataract surgery were presented. |
