| Summary: |
To describe the clinical
characteristics of the patient with a Coats disease.
Design: Observational case report.
Methods: 10-years old man was studied. Complete
ophthalmologic examinations including fluorescein
retinal angiography (FA), optical coherence tomography (OCT),
A- and B-mode ultrasonography (US) were performed.
Results: Teleangiectasis of temporal vessels in
the right eye was present during whole time of
observation. FA and OCT were consistent with the
features of Coats disease in the macula and peripheral
retina. B-mode ultrasound showed local vitreoretinal
traction.
Conclusions: We confirmed that the immediate, and
consistential laser therapy has good treatment results. |
