| Summary: |
In this report we presented etiology of GPC induced by
contact lens wear and management ways - especially use of ketotifen eye drops. This
condition is one of the most common hypersensitivity reactions occurring in contact lens
wearers. The diagnosis and management of ocular hypersensitivity can present a challenge
to eyecare practitioners and an understanding of the mechanisms that underlie the signs
and symptoms of such condition is necessary for their appropriate management. |
