| Summary: |
Oftagel (Santen OY), new artificial tears preparation
available on Polish market, is presented. The active ingredient is Carbomer 974P in
concentration 2,5 mg/g. This preparation is well tolerated and effective in therapy of dry
eye syndrome. Our study confirm high tolerance and 90% effectiveness of Oftagel in
symptomatic therapy of patients with complaints typical to dry eye syndrome but without
other signs of this disease. |
