| Summary: |
Modern Orthokeratology is
a safe non-invasive clinical procedure to reduce myopia
and improve vision. Orthokeratology/CKR contact lenses
are made of highly oxygenated material and a reverse
geometry shape. Corneal topography is an integral part
of this procedure to follow-up on patient’s progress and
designing the contact lens. As myopia decreases shape
factor increases and the cornea changes from a prolate
shape to an oblate shape. |
