| Summary: |
The article summarises the
question of relationship between corneal topography and
quality of the tear film. It draws attention to the
influence of dry eye and artificial tears administration
upon the result of the corneal topography examination
and technical problems during the examination caused by
the syndrome. Furthermore it describes the topographic
methods of diagnosing and evaluating the severity of
tear film disorders as well as methods of evaluating
patient’s response to the treatment. Special attention
is paid to the Orbscan II system. |
