The aim of this paper is
to summarize dry eye problems within contact lens
multipurpose solutions and effect of hydroxypropyl
methylcellulose (HPMC) on lubricant properties of
Complete Comfort Plus. The ocular lubricant HPMC has
produced reports of clinical benefits, particularly in
lens wearing comfort and added to multipurpose solutions
improved tear-thinning time and structure. The authors
present tear film function in subjects wearing hydrogel
lens sacked in multipurpose solutions and investigated
the wetting properties of these solutions. An
appropriate attitude how to manage this problem is also
described. |
