| Summary: |
The objective of this
paper is to present new possibilities of the modern
computer lens technique using videokeratographs to fit
rigid contact lenses of quadrant geometry in difficult
corneal irregularities. Material consisted of 4 patients
(7 eyes). Evaluation was performed by analyzing fitting
effects in 2nd and 3rd stage of keratoconus advancement
according to the Amsler and Muckenhirn scale in
astigmatism caused by penetrating keratoplasty and
pellucid marginal degeneration. Method included
technique of maximally parallel to the cornea fitting
using Ocullus videokeratograph along with specialist
Hecht software. Computer technique use allowed quick and
accurate lenses fitting in difficult cases. |
