32 people (64 eyes)
wearing silicone hydrogel Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear
contact lenses manufactured by Johnson & Johnson were
examined. The results of these examinations were further
evaluated. Patients had ophthalmologic examination first
at the moment of the lenses application and then again
after one month of daily wear. During examinations
special attention was paid to the following elements:
anterior part of the eye condition, corneal curvature,
defect extend, lenses mobility and centration, visual
acuity and visual acuity stability during lenses wear.
The subjective irritations experienced by patients
during lenses wear were described, grouped and assessed.
The authors analyzed final evaluation of wear comfort
and the ease of putting on and taking off Acuvue Advance
lenses as expressed by the patients. |
