| Summary: |
Contact lens became a
common device in refractive errors correction and as a
bandage lens – useful support in ocular surface healing.
OCT Visante enables imaging each type of contact lens.
Ability to obtain morphologic and morphometric
measurements makes this device very useful in analysis
of contact lens influence on corneal surface healing. We
analyzed patients wearing different types of contact
lenses for various reasons. Diagnostic value in clinical
practice was evaluated. OCT Visante seems to be an
indispensable tool in qualitative and quantitative
assessment of the anterior segment. |
