Researches conducted by
Coroneo and Ho provide very strong evidences, that
contact lenses with UV-blocking can decrease exposure of
UV radiation. UV radiaition is responsible for more
disease related with light radiation. Contact lenses
with UV-blocking wear together with sunglasses with
UV-blocking provide full protection against harmfull UV
radiation. Use of contact lenses with UV blocking can
protect cornea, limbus and internal parts of the eye
when wearing of sunglasses is impractical or impossible. |
