| Summary: |
The modern soft contact
lenses with very high level of oxygen permeability as
well as comfort and safety are increasingly used in eye
diseases treatment among children and young adults. The
aim of the research is to evaluate treatment
effectiveness of the soft toric lenses when treating
anisometropia along with amblyopia.
The observations were conducted within the last two
years on a group of thirty six children and young adults
aged between six and seventeen years. The findings
showed that there was a ninety per cent improvement of
the vision sharpness in amblyopic eye and about sixty
per cent cases of binocular vision.
In conclusion, the application of the soft toric contact
