| Summary: |
Rosacea is a common,
chronic skin disease coexisting witch ocular involvement.
Ocular rosacea is most frequently diagnosed when
cutaneous signs and symptoms of rosacea are also present,
although the diagnosis can be made in the skin
manifestations absence.
Contact lens fitting in rosacea patient requires:
systemic rosacea treatment, appropriate contact lens
selection, bacterial overgrowth and inflammatory
reactions control, tear film disturbance normalization,
real care of contact lens hygiene. |
