| Summary: |
The article presents a
preview of devices using modern technologies for
supporting blind and low vision individuals. Presented
devices are grouped according to their function:
supporting everyday life, text reading and education &
work. The text is addressed to physicians
ophthalmologists as they usually have the first contact
with individuals going blind. The intention of authors
was to supply readers with knowledge about different
solutions which can help their patients and which are
not eye glasses neither contact lenses. |
