| Summary: |
The present overview is an
attempt to standardize refraction examination during
corrective lenses selection, which are recommended
during glasses and contact lenses application and
follow-up visits following contact lenses fitting.
The purposes for standard refraction examination during
corrective lenses selection are following:
– to standardize activities necessary for specialist
care for patient using corrective lenses, including
contact lenses,
– to indicate preferred examination methods and
cause-and-effect relationship between examination
results and further management,
– to create basis for quality of the provided service
analysis in corrective lenses selection, including
contact lenses and follow-up visits,
– to outline directions of the specialists training
according to the recommended standards and to aspire to
constant examination methods improvement in specialist
care for patient. |
